Lots and lots of watercolors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both in terms of the buying and spending, and the actual doing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Been just painting a lot of stuff lately. Like 8 or 10 watercolors paintings each day over the weekend\u2026 Loose florals, some landscapes\u2026 Just having some fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And as for the purchases\u2026 I have a palette full of Holbein watercolors now. Like 44 watercolors, according to my google sheet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve got a bunch of winsor and newtons as well\u2026 And a whole lot of daniel smiths\u2026 Both their extra fine watercolors and their luminance series of fun watercolors. Found that just adding a bit of shiny stuff here and there makes the painting really interesting and so\u2026 Yeah I just ended up buying a whole bunch. Visited Straits Art twice and ordered online once\u2026 Yeah. I\u2019m deep down the rabbit hole for sure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also just paid like 70 bucks in gst and handling fees for a lot of schminke watercolors from jackson art\u2026 Not too sure if it was worth it compared to just buying from straits art but\u2026 Yeah\u2026 Just\u2026 felt like I\u2019ve been there a bit too much in just like\u2026 two weeks or something so\u2026 Yeah. THEN afterwards I got very tempted by michelle harding watercolors, also sold on jackson art\u2026 Added a whole lot of them to my cart already. But for now I\u2019m just holding my horses and putting that purchase on hold. Maybe after the renovation. Maybe never. I don\u2019t know. I have so much professional watercolors and they will already last me years and years. I want more of course, but obviously I don\u2019t need more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And on top of that I ordered a whole lot of handmade watercolors\u2026 Including a whole year of watercolor preorders from boulder colors\u2026 So\u2026 Yeah. The shiny ones have been upgraded to the palette for up to 24 colors. Neither are filled yet, allowing for some bit of expansion. But not that much. I want an interference green for the D.S\u2026. Not sure if they just didn\u2019t have it in stock or something\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kinda want some more holbeins too\u2026 I want colors more similar to an olive green. And I want like a proper primary red. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hmmm\u2026 Yeah. I\u2019m at a conference now so I\u2019m actually in novena. Which is fairly close to orchard road. Well. Very close. I\u2019m wondering if I should drop by later or something\u2026 But that\u2019s also making it hard for me to concentrate on my blog post writing\u2026 So I guess I shall end it here\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But so far I\u2019m really loving the DS and Holbein paints\u2026 W&amp;N is good too. QOR, haven\u2019t liked them that much so far.
