Yes. Discovered my first major inkcident today….

I say discovered because, I checked my desk today and found something like this.

Well ok, I already moved some stuff around. But the culprit was the beautiful glass bottle on the left of the picture. It fell, and this time, after all the times it toppled over without incident… It leaked… No idea when that even happened… But sometime last night after I refilled my Pilot Vanishing Point and left the box of melancholic blue out…

The ink on the box was almost dried by the time I discovered it too…

Thankfully and surprisingly, most of the ink came off with some ethanol and elbow grease… Surprising considering it’s an iron gal ink. Really thankful it came off though! My one and only table for filming! Phew!

It’s been a while huh!

Let’s just say my motivation levels have been fluctuating… Even with the youtube videos I’ve been putting out a video. Once every two weeks for a while.

The good thing is that… New gear has arrived! I bought a new unidirectional mic… Bad news is that I’ve yet to test it out. The new mic together with some new stands that would hopefully make it easier for me to film… we’ll see.

The past few weeks is just… Chaotic huh. Covid cases locally drastically increased. A war started. My workplace decided to extend weekly covid testing, which was the complete opposite of what the gov had recommended… I started doing computation work (once again) at work and had to remind myself how to use python and R…. But also yesterday realised that I still had wet lab experiments to do to patch up the data gaps…

Things have been all over the place frankly, just like my thoughts right now.

Hopefully things will settle down soon, together with my mental state. Just gotta set up everything ya know… Until the next change come along that is… :X
